AeroAVL Privacy Policy

AeroAVL is operated by Vane, LLC. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit AeroAVL, create an account, manage a supplier profile, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your email address, name, and any job title or phone number you provide. Our authentication provider processes your password. We also record when you accept our Terms and which document versions were presented.

Saved research and activity. The suppliers and searches you save, along with usage information such as searches performed, filters selected, profiles viewed, and request timing. Some activity is associated with your account when you are signed in.

Supplier information. Company and business-contact information from public websites, directories, records, and information submitted by suppliers. We also retain information about profile claims, access requests, and edits.

Communications. Feedback, support requests, and information you include in messages to us.

Technical information. Our hosting and service providers process information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, and errors to deliver and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• Operate AeroAVL and provide search, saving, and profile-management features.
• Authenticate users and review requests to manage supplier profiles.
• Maintain and improve supplier information.
• Send account, security, and service messages.
• Respond to feedback and support requests.
• Understand usage, improve performance, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. What other users can see

Supplier profiles are generally public and may appear in search engines. Company contact information submitted for publication may therefore be visible to anyone.

The dedicated revenue, employee-count, and facility-size fields are visible only to registered users who are signed in. Company overview text and other public sources may contain similar information. Sign-in restrictions do not make information confidential or prevent a viewer from copying it.

Your account registration details and saved suppliers and searches are not published as part of the directory. Vane, LLC and its service providers may access them as needed to operate, support, and protect AeroAVL.

4. Service providers and other disclosures

We use providers to help deliver AeroAVL:

• Supabase: account authentication and database storage.
• Vercel: website hosting, traffic delivery, analytics, and performance monitoring.
• Postmark: service-email delivery and related delivery records.
• Google Maps Platform: location-related features and Google ratings. When these features load or you use them, your browser sends information to Google, including technical request information and relevant location searches.
• Google Gemini: AI-assisted processing of supplier source material to help organize and summarize company information. That material may include publicly listed business-contact information.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of AeroAVL’s business, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar browser storage to maintain sign-in and support service functionality. Some cookies can remain after you close your browser.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights help us understand traffic and performance. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party tracking cookies. Separately, AeroAVL records its own product activity, including searches and profile views; that activity may be linked to your account.

Google features may use their own cookies or similar technologies under Google’s policies.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other features from working.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and its purpose; there is no single deletion period for all data.

Account deletion does not automatically remove public supplier listings. Some records may remain where legally required or reasonably necessary, and copies may remain in backups until those backups are replaced. We may retain usage information that no longer identifies you.

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

7. Your choices and requests

You can manage your saved research and, if authorized, edit your supplier profile through AeroAVL.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information or account, email support@aeroavl.com. You can also contact us about personal information appearing in a supplier listing, even if you do not have an account.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable limits. Your rights may vary depending on where you live.

8. Children

AeroAVL is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and address it.

9. Policy changes

We will update this policy as our practices change and show the new effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice through AeroAVL or by email. Where the law requires consent for a new use of information, we will obtain it before that use.
